Get rid of fat belly for a week
Yep, that would be my goal starting tomorrow. I noticed recently that I have been gaining inches on my waistline and must do something about it before it gets worst. And since I won’t be at home next week and I can’t use my laptop to procrastinate then maybe this time my goal will be a success. Well, who wouldn’t like to get rid of this flabby tummy, right? If only I could afford a tummy tuck then I wouldn’t waste my time in exercising. Unfortunately, I can’t so I have to do it in a long way.
I will share to you my plan on how to get rid of this flabby tummy for a week (or two). I did it once so I guess I can do it again. Losing weight is really easy, all you need is discipline and determination! The two things you should always remember is you have to eat always but small amounts only (the discipline part) AND lose weight (determination) easily by burning them through exercise for example. To sum it, you need to eat healthy diet food and exercise everyday for 30min to 1 hour. Here’s my plan:
For my everyday intake of calories: I will eat 6 small meals a day (Breakfast, snacks, lunch, snacks, dinner, snacks).
Breakfast: 1 cup of cereals and skimmed milk, Banana
Snack: 2 slice of wheat bread, water
Lunch: Any rice meal
Snack: 2 slice of wheat bread, water
Dinner: Oatmeal
Snack: OatmealI have to eat this type of foods for a week? Well, I have to endure it if I want to lose fat! This is only for one week anyway then after that I can go back to my normal eating habit.
For my daily exercise: Running/Jogging for 30 minutes then weight training. If you want to get rid of your tummy fats, you have to work your whole body, you need to sweat it out. Don’t concentrate only on the abs part because this won’t help you at all. When you sweat, it means you’re releasing the fats on your body. If your fats are extremely low, then proceed to a weight training that would help you improve your muscle. Don’t worry, girls because you won’t get a bulky muscle unless you drink steroids. Muscle helps us to trim our body and show our sexy curves.
Well, that’s my plan and I hope it would be successful, wish me luck! How about you, do you have anything to share to me how to get rid of this flabby tummy?

Tweet it or Plurk it?
Social media is quite popular nowadays. Aside from blogging, connecting to your friends through online, or maybe chat with them, you can now also update them about your activities in real time. Internet has evolve and every updates it made comes with interesting and useful features. I won’t talk about the Internet evolution in this entry but what I will share you is my insight regarding the two popular social media being used lately: Twitter and Plurk.
In case you don’t know yet, Twitter and Plurk are free social networking site where you can post short
messages with a maximum of 150 characters only. Still don’t get it? Then picture it as the “Shout Out” of Friendster or “Wall Updates” of Facebook but in a separate website. Both of this site offers their user this kind of functionality, you can send updates in a Timeline and people that is connected to you can read and reply to your updates. Now the question is, what should you use?
I have a Twitter and Plurk account, both are active and I have been using them for a couple of months now. I don’t want to bore you with useless stories on how I started using them or how I use them, so I’ll just jump to the summary part.
Feature Plurk Twitter Timeline Plurk’s timeline looks like a real timeline. Your updates will be posted in a screen like a post-it, posted in a wall. The interface looks great and promising because of the flash integration. My only bad comment about this is it would be difficult to view it in a mobile phone, or if you have a slow connection The twitter has a simpler theme for a timeline. It’s in a linear format where in the latest tweet will be posted at the top. Reply The plurk is themed like an Instant Message that replies are organized and easy to read. All you have to do is click the plurk update of that person and you can now add your reply to it. Twitter only uses the @<username here> to categorize it as a reply twit instead of a personal update. The problem now is you don’t know what particular tweet the person replied to. Application and Mobile Compatibility Plurk doesn’t have any 3rd party application to offer yet but they have a mobile version of their plurk timeline. The mobile version is now much simplier and text-based only, much like a twitter now. This is the reason why I love Twitter, they have endless number of Application that you can install on your desktop, gadgets and mobile phone. If you don’t want to install a 3rd party application then different web mode application is also available. Those are some of the features that you might be looking for before you sign up to any of these two. So what do you think? Do you prefer twitter or plurk?
