How to get out of debt?

I’m currently reading the book, The Confessions of a Shopaholic, because I can totally relate with the story. Becky, the shopaholic, works as a financial journalist but admits to actually knowing very little about personal finance as she is thousands of pounds in debt as is evidenced by a run through of her Visa card bill. She becomes deeper in debt by uncontrollably spending on designer home ware, clothes and beauty products. Becky tries to cut back to pay the debt but that doesn’t work as she ends up spending nearly £200 in one day. She tries to make more money but spends £9 on lottery tickets, without winning.

A lot of people who don’t know how to manage their money falls in a big debt and can’t pay even the minimum payment required. A credit card counseling is the best way to get out of this situation because they will attempt to negotiate the bank to reduce settlement on the balance you owe to them thus it will be easier for you to pay off everything.

Payday Again!

Today is payday! I love payday, I hope everyday is a payday. Well, who can blame me? I want to shop, buy new clothes or shoes or bags or anything I see in the mall but I can’t do that if I don’t have a single penny. Every 15th and 30th of the month is my favorite date. I can’t wait for the next one, really!
