It’s our sembreak already, yey. So we have 3 week vacation; time to rest, bum around my room all day, sleep late at night watching DVD movies or series, be online almost 24/7! But this also means “no work, no pay” for a month. Yeah, you read it right and I don’t like it too. Good thing I have PR now so I could work with my SPs fulltime although I still need to increase my PR. Opportunities are very limited especially at PPP and smorty. Can you recommend more website with this type of service? Sponsored posts or blog advertising? I badly need one since I don’t have work for the whole month. And I also added some clickable ads all over my website, help me earn some money please.

So how’s your week? August is almost over and that reminds me of my Mom’s birthday on September 3rd. Any ideas for nice gift for her?

By the way, I bought 3 DVD series because I know that this would be a very long vacation and I can’t go out the house (go to mall or somewhere else) due to lack of cash!? So far I’m enjoying the three series.

1. Roswell – an old skool series already. My boyfriend recommended this one when we we’re browsing the tiangge. The story’s almost the same concept with Twilight. You know where the heroine is inlove with someone who is not human! He’s not a vampire but an Alien.
2. xxxHolic – this is an anime series. I saw the Manga but haven’t read it yet. I wasn’t really interested with the story but tried watching it. I didn’t regret it and in fact I’m almost finished with the series. It took me only two nights to watched 10+ episodes. And I will continue watching it later.
3. Veronica Mars – I heard about this series before but don’t know where to watch it. I guess it was being aired at Cable TVs before. I saw the DVD series last night at the same tiangge and started watching it but then I found out just a minute ago that the DVD I bought was the third season already. Argh, so I’m now obligated to buy another DVD ~ the real Season 1.

I’m on a diet right now. I can’t do my usual fitness activity every day so I decided to go with diet muna. Less food, less activity. Unfortunately, bloghopping isn’t helping me with this. You know, the entries I see every time I visit blogs… everything is about food, photos of Pizza (thanks to Sheryl’s posts) or frappes and pasta (this one is from Karen).? Lols, they’re too tempting and if only I have money right now I guess I will be a victim as well! hahah. So good thing I’m broke. Luckily, I just found a good diet for me: Zone Diet, it enables you to stabilize hormones and when excess insulin is released into bloodstream, it contributes to weight loss and lowers risks of other chronic diseases. Great, isn’t it?

And lastly, since this is starting to be a novel already, I want to add a photoblog but having a second thought. Should I put a photoblog or stick with flickr? What do you think?

Shitty ISP

Dang, I hate it. I can’t access most of the sites because (I think) Smartbro is blocking them. I don’t know if there’s a problem with my router or Smartbro is just working shit these days. I have to reload a page numerous times before it can crawl on the whole page. I haven’t called the tech support yet because I know it also won’t help me. I also asked my boyfriend to visit my site and he can’t access it too. So I concluded that the problem is with the ISP, he’s also using SmartBro.

Anyway, I can’t update much here. Mostly because I’m addicted with my Tumblr. I’m going to use it for my daily and random updates, anything I want to say, something I couldn’t post here, etc. Follow me if you’re interested with my updates or visit Dan P Neumeister’s profile, an independent consultant. You will be impressed with his bio-data, I found his online resume this morning while I was looking for a resume template. His page is really informative and details his working information and background contents. He already accomplished a lot of medical practices, why don’t you visit it too and be inspired.

Moving on, I just finished reading Breaking Dawn this morning. I read the book all night, I can’t sleep and want to end the book already. Actually, it took me 2 weeks to finish the book. Mainly because I was busy for two weeks also: Sportfest and the so-called Freshmen Night Party at Cuneta Astrodome which was very boring and tiring.

[spoiler /Breaking Dawn Spoiler/ /Stop Reading/]Does it really ends here, I mean the book? No more stories about Bella and Edward? Nessie and Jacob? Dang, I want more! It really disturbed me when I read “The End” at the last page of the book, I wasn’t expecting that. This is almost the same with Harry Potter ending, I mean there’s a lot more to explain, more stories to tell: about the new characters, the Children of the Moon(I’m interested with them), Jacob’s clan are “Shape-shifters” and not a werewolf, and much, much more. I want more Edward, please S.Meyer don’t end the story here. They have forever and we want to read it. [/spoiler]

The good thing is, the National Bookstore here have a copy of Twilight and New Moon again. I’m going to buy them on the next payday. Talking about completing the whole set, I’m also collecting the ebook set, for handy-reading purposes. You know that my PSP is very useful, I can read PDF files right there. I also downloaded S.Meyer’s other book, “The Host” and will start reading it later because I don’t have a class tomorrow!

This is a very long weekend for me:

• Sunday is a restday,
• Monday – no classes,
• Tuesday’s a restday then
• Wednesday no classes again because of my schedule problem.

It a bit boring here at home but at least I can rest all day and do some stuffs I missed such as watching anime DVDs, reading books, cleaning my room, etc. I think I should start reading my new ebook. I hope the story is interesting as Twilight.
