Finally, an update. I was so busy because we had our Prelim examination. At least, I accomplished a lot of things: I have my official class list now, checked the quizzes and examination paper, looked for the grades I have recorded in a yellow paper, and anything that a teacher usually do.

I have my entertainment showcase inside my room. I bought the DVD last Wednesday and it’s awesome. It have a lot of features though it’s very cheap. It so handy/portable due to its size, it fits in my TV rack. Here are some shots I took last night.

The TV costs almost P7,000 and I got the DVD for P1,450 at SM Appliances. I was choosing between Winbase or Xenon but since they both have the same features I decided to buy the cheaper one (Xenon’s price is P1800+). Then I used the saved P400 to buy gifts for my Mom, Nanay and Haerin.

Anyway, what got me interested with this DVD is the USB connection and the DivX support (See the image). In case you don’t know, I used to download anime series at Stage6. I have wide collection of Anime series downloaded from that site: Detective Conan series/movie (16gb), Lovely Complex, Bokura Ga Ita, Kaleidoscope, etc. I can’t convert them to DVD/VCD format so I can only watch them in my Computer using a DivX player.

But the DVDs these days can now support DivX playback, it almost works as a CD/DVD-rom. You can view your folder and files, it could be image format, sound or videos. So I burned my DivX videos in my CD and watch my favorite Anime in much larger screen. You can even insert your Flash Drive/USB MP3 player and listen to your play list. This really amazed me, I don’t regret buying this one.

I received my Tax refund last payday so I have excess money. I’m going to save the P2000 in my bank account instead of buying lots of stuff I don’t need. Besides, I’m planning to buy a new laptop which is very portable and handy, here take a look.
